While most of South Florida is buzzing with Super Bowl fever, a different type of “buzz” sent fire crews scrambling into action in Coral Springs Saturday, February 3.
Fire Rescue responded to a swarm of Africanized Honey Bee’s which made their home in a residential water meter next to a house.
Crews were able to kill the bees by dousing them with special foam. Nobody was hurt, thanks in part to the departments newly deployed bee suits.
